Good Sync File Synchronization

image

A flash drive is a great way to take your files on the road. The problem is in ensuring that you’ve got the latest versions when you leave the office, and that you’re working on the latest version when you return.

What you’ve got to do is synchronize the files.

Fortunately, there’s a free program called GoodSync that can do the heavy lifting for you.

Once you install the program, you select the folders and files—on the flash drive and on the host computer—that you want to synchronize. At the click of a button, GoodSync then analyzes the files and sorts out which is most recent and needs to be saved. GoodSync can be set to function automatically and can work on multiples folders simultaneously.

The program also works with external hard drives, so it is great as a backup system.

GoodSync also has a pro version that’s just $20.

I recommend it.
